Does anyone know of anyone that would benefit from stitch embroidery, lacemaking text books? My dad is trying to re-home mums collection, some of which are rare and expensive very niche techniques like medieval plumping (dont ask me). If anyone's interested please DM me

Grief counselling thing today was hard going. But did that, see if it goes anywhere else. Some people in terrible straits but we were all in the same position

Well I think I'll put this down now, not my best or my worst. What a dog of a kit, fun to wrestle it into presentable. Carrier deck of Hermes as a display I think

Bad weekend of not enough sleep, more anxiety worrying and random downers. Couldn't face work this morning, so another day trying to switch off. I decided to do this in subdued scheme for which there are no decals, so masochist modeller I am, free handing them instead

Update for the airbrush folks, problem was almost certainly the compressor. I've hooked up a new one with a new hose today and getting a much more reliable pressure (and has a regulator so I can actually know that too). Will try out the brush and see how it goes

Does anyone that uses an airbrush regularly feel helpful enough to talk through what Im doing wrong? I've never ever been able to even get basic operation right, and I'd like to know how to use the pretty decent brush and compressor I have. Guides don't seem to cut it I think I need to learn by do

Done some more work on this, shaped the indented facing and routed it off, added some beeswax and linseed oil to start feeding the word. Cut and sharped the rear facing some more work to do

And finishing the day with some more work on this. I've finished the form of the background at least but think I might do some more blue washes over it to tie it together, we'll see. Hopefully the rain effect comes off
