Journey Sloane is an avid creator (and consumer) of speculative fiction. Queer, cranky, and neurodivergent.

The "worst" feedback I've gotten about Blue Days Breaking is that it might be a little too intense for some people. To which I say: Yep. Intrusive thoughts be like that. #Booksky #QueerScifi #ScienceFiction ##WritingCommunity

I had the opportunity to read @journeysloane.bsky.social's unpublished queer sci-fi novelette and it's. So. Good!!! The writing, the characters, the EMOTION. There's even a character named Cooper who isn't based on me but I'd be cool with it if he was 'cos I love Cooper. Can't wait for its release!!

Shout out to the unsung heroes in the writing world: the people who listen to all your ideas and remind you during your lowest moments, when all your effort feels pointless, that you love writing. For me it's The Mister, who's never read a word I've written but knows all of my stories by heart 💚

An excerpt from the first story in my next collection: The Witch's Path ARCS (that means advance review copies, and that means a free book for you in return of an honest review for me! It's a good deal) are available through BookSirens or directly from me if we're mutuals. #booksky

A graphic featuring a cave background overlaid with the title The Witch's Path and the text: You do not believe yourself afraid. You creep on tip toe out of caution, not fear. Your heart beats so loud it carries through stone from exhilaration, not trepidation. You are a warrior come to claim your victory.
Your stories promise it.
Your history foretold it.

To Whom it May Concern, How do I get as many eyes on posts about my books as I do on the ones about my poor dietary choices? Should I add more cheese? I feel like the answer is always more cheese. Thanks, Me

"ANNOUNCING ANOTHER MOVIE REMAKE OF A HORROR STORY THAT’S ALREADY BEEN REMADE!" I promise you. I *promise* you there are other horror books out there, filmmakers. And they're good! Great even!! Look, I've written some of them!!!

Furious that Chris Nolan would disregard historical accuracy in adapting The Odyssey by making a "movie" with "cameras" instead of memorizing the entire story and then going on a nationwide tour to sing it to us while tripping on ergotized barley
