My decade-old lawnmower gave up the ghost. The one I had before was a 40-year old GE model that was still running…. So reading reviews on current models: “Customers like that this model lasts long, 3-6 years.” Are you kidding me? Let’s get back to making things last like they did in the 70s.

Frankly, I find this deeply disturbing. And this is not just happening in America. I see it happening here in Canada, the UK/EU. It’s very telling about the state of affairs in politics and power.
