Watching @communitygamealong.bsky.social's new silver age episode, and MAN, OH MAN, so much hindsight hit sonic's development and franchising history

Feels damned good to go target on some team rocket asshats, lemme tell ya. For context, THAT is the name I associate with those wretched pokemon TCG resellers, because they EMBODY the core MO of the in game personification of team rocket. The GBC TCG sequel is now based on REAL EVENTS

Took a mental health day from work. Figure maybe taking some delight in me time content could use enough serotonin to counteract the overwhelming guilt hanging over my neck from lost family opportunities

Not gonna lie, today's felt pretty depressing. I had to miss out on my nephew's middle school graduation, and with everyone who COULD be there, I can't help but feel that sense of disassociation hitting my mood

So once again it seems one of my CGA choices is a dud decision. At least this time I took the time to find out beforehand, but it still means my action rpg for August became an invalid title not worth supporting. For context, I got Lost Souls Aside out of target's clearance section, now I know why

Hoo da la lee, what a week. Discovered two nasty things, that I'm one of those unfortunate bastards who can't sit in a soft chair without destroying everything below my gut, and some emotional destruction from scathing words and behavior from my mother. Life's sure an amazing thing on this planet

So with one project up in smoke, I suppose it's on to June's plans of catching up and finally getting to mighty morphin alien rangers and dragon ball GT. I think the only way I'll be able to swallow going back to the latter series is gonna HAVE to be sticking with the original Japanese subtitled

Well, never mind, I suppose. Turns out my hotel Barcelona coverage was cursed from the get go. It's come to my attention upon further research into the game that Swery screwed up. One of the in game collectibles was built with and retained generative AI components. Well, now my mood's dampened

Well, I'd planned on my other #characteractionmay game for CGA to be Gundam, but like @communitygamealong.bsky.social , I too, have acquired a relatively new game developed as a collab between Suda 51, and Mr. Deadly Premonition, swery! Here's hoping for a hype time playing!

I forgot about my biggest gripe about the new starfox, nintendo themselves being aware that, yeah, they just rehashed 64 another time around. How do I know this? Because the presentation showed compatibility with the NSO N64 pro controller to, "use a control scheme more familiar to star fox 64"
