Boiler Up- 10th Mountain Combat Iraq Vet 2004-05- Politics is not a sport

Gotta say, pretty clever of the overlords to distract us from the collapsing failure of AI by sending troops into major cities for funnies. No notes

I think the best part about this bill, the Trump admin, concentration camps, etc… is that we’re basically guaranteed safety from a terrorist attack. Who in their right mind would look at us basically walking around on fire continuously stabbing ourselves in the face and think… let’s interrupt them.

Just finished watching “Glory” again. I know it’s a movie, but I’m convinced we should nuke the entire south of this country

Google Chromecast: we’re no longer supporting this device. Also Google Chromecast: Look, we hastily built this fucking thing. Just sit down and wait for it to update loser. Me: well it seems like a long tim… Google: shut the fuck up! Just download the new version asshole

Trump realizing that his bluff to the rest of the world actually united them against us would be so much more satisfying if I wasn’t searching my company’s name and “layoff news” every 15 minutes.

I’d like to thank the Boomers from the bottom of my heart. They’ve screwed Millennials and Gen Z so bad that *if* they get old enough to take it out on anyone, it will be us, Gen X. So Boomers made us raise ourselves and these young bastards are gonna throw us off a cliff when we’re older.

This Elon Takeover BS made me think of 9/11. Tens of thousands of us quit school, jobs, etc immediately after and joined the military due to patriotism. If 9/11 happened today, I wouldn’t give up my seat on the train to save this country, let alone fight for whatever the hell this is now….

September 1787 Powel: Well Dr, what have we got, a republic or a monarchy? Ben Franklin: A Republic, loosely knit together with vague language, assumptions, and zero consideration that a small minority of bad actors can easily hijack all branches…. If you can keep it.

Trump’s negotiating style is similar to a guy walking into a convenience store with a suicide vest and walking out with a pack of gum.

At home Sick today… and watching Indiana Jones, thinking about the days watching the Super Bowl in my buddy’s basement, and playing Tecmo Bowl in the 90s. No one talked about politics… we were preoccupied with life. God to I hate what we’ve become.

Never seen powerful ppl like Musk and Zuck just so brazenly alienate half their customer base with such hubris. I get that the access to power is a dangerous perfume. Yes they can use that access to crush competition, but to do this in the era of quiet quitting seems like a terrible business model.

NFL Sunday: It’s always my favorite day of the week. But I can’t help but get sad knowing that there are young men out there developing gambling addictions. The evidence was always there. If you introduced ease of access sports betting, young men would bankrupt themselves in alarming numbers

Not talking about Scott, but “well off” people don’t quite understand how hypocritical union workers are. In good ole’ middle America, we all know a plethora of union workers who talk about other workers as if they’re trash. One of the worst examples of “I got mine” in this country.

Me: Signs up for Butcher Box Butcher Box: Hey, we haven’t shipped your box yet, but here’s 9 emails. Me:….. Butcher Box: Hey we shipped your box, here’s 3 more emails Me:…… Butcher Box: So you’re going out in this weather without a coat huh? By the way, that shirt is wrinkled.

Had a dream last night that Starbucks kept auto-filling my account and drained my savings. But Halle Berry showed up at my house with a giant bag of legos for the kids. I THINK in my dream that Legos were illegal and Hallie was laundering the money

I’m in no way saying this as a “good” thing, but I have a sneaking suspicion that this United Healthcare CEO assassination might be the equivalent of Columbine to school shootings.

Sometimes I sit back and am mystified that we reelected a guy who tried to stage a coup. Not that we accepted it, but that he screwed it up and we accepted it. I Thought we were the greatest nation on earth, and we couldn’t even pull off a coup.
