Not to be negative, but from the allegedly all AI special effects to the casting being a lose-lose of either “he won’t be out of the armor so we can just pretend we don’t know they rehired iron man” or “it’s multiverse Tony”, this is how I feel abt my favorite marvel character’s fourth film debut

Odyssey gets a 3/5 from me, due to 1) it being a little bloated 2) losing track of the original themes for Nolan’s typical lame cool-guy removal of campiness 3)stretching minor characters out seemingly just to add redundant exposition. It making twitter morons crash out is 10/5 though, good stuff

I don’t think anything is more indicative of painfully out of touch these people are than the fact that they can’t clock that the success of stuff like this and Obsession and even TADC is because it’s creator driven and not corporate IP slop—not because it’s “a meme from the internet”

Disclosure day was a genuinely very bad movie, I cannot believe that it’s not getting shredded in reviews. The plot and dialogue felt like it was written by ai.

I havent seen a star war since 2016 and have no dog in the fight, but it is a lil funny that like EVERY positive post about the new one is tinged with just a smidge of defensiveness. It’s ok to like something without arguing that it’s good-“it sucked, I loved it” is valid, and something I say a lot
