RIP David Hockney, an inspirational artist and wonderful human being. Was a privilege to see Bigger and closer (not smaller and further away) at the Lightroom in 2023, to hear David’s perspective on nature, the world and his joy in painting. A true inspiration. #Hockney #art #DavidHockney #Lightroom

What an incredible place Kuekenhof is in spring. Beautiful flowers everywhere and fragrance in the air. Beautiful sunny warm weather as well. Always wanted to go and visit and it did not disappoint! Shortlist for next year’s bulb purchases prepared🤭 #Kuekenhof #Tulip #Spring

Very sad to hear the great photographer Martin Parr has passed away. Two of his pictures that I saw at Tate Britain earlier this year. Instantly recognizable. Rest in peace. #MartinParr

Seedings coming on well, annual lupin, cosmos, celosia, African and French marigolds and 7 microscopic petunias 🌱 sunflowers still to emerge.

My first attempt at growing ipomoea pennata, the cypress vine. The leaves were looking a bit floppy and weird initially so I think they could be a challenge 🌱

A film for the future at the #Lightroom . Fantastic music and a great show. Always have a good accessibility experience at this venue 👍, great well trained staff.

Anyone else in the UK getting through the winter cold by planning and browsing flower seed and tuber catalogs. Indulged in two new Dahlia’s and will be experimenting with growing them in pots on the patio this year. 🌱
