I have friends… everywhere.

Was watching Aliens yesterday, as one does, and realized the Mothership RPG adventure “Another Bug Hunt” is a line directly from the movie. I’m slow.

I'm a big fan of "The Game Master's Book of..." books and I generally buy them in pdf on @drivethrurpg.com. I own several of the physical books. The lack of bookmarks and clickable TOC in the PDF versions is a real drag. I spend 45 minutes on each book and some amount of extra money to add a TOC.

Prototyping some nicely-ish formatted HEX grid description pages. Pretty happy with how this turned out using Google Docs. And yes, I sure am using the Dolmenwood Campaign book as a reference and for inspiration.

I added a few notebooks to my last Jetpens order to run the total up to the free shipping threshold. I didn’t realize the notebooks I chose are American Girl doll-sized 🤦🏻‍♂️

A very small notebook.

I’m having a nice time with Cartograph #solottrpg but flipping through the tables, or in my case, scrolling through the tables on my iPad was turning into a chore. And because I’m me, this is my solution: The tri-fold Cartograph GM screen. Just enough room to fit them all with 3 overlapping flips.

Been digging into how to run a good West Marches type RPG campaign, mostly in anticipation of Shadowdark Western Reaches shipping. I’m starting from the beginning (relatively) with Ben Robbins’ series of posts dating back to 2007. I compiled them into a zine format for easy reading and reference.
