Nice surprise - the TIFR Cosmology and Astroparticle Physics group hadn't posted any State of the Universe seminars since early 2025, but today they posted their videos since then A couple video links currently aren't working but it's likely the updates are still in process & will be available soon

#Cosmology The Local Distance Network: a community consensus report on the measurement of the Hubble constant at 1% precision The baseline result is H0=73.50+/-0.81 km/s/Mpc. by the H0DN Collaboration: Stefano Casertano, et al (incl. @styrofoamplates.bsky.social) arxiv.org/abs/2510.23823 🧪

This is Figure 1 of the paper, a conceptual overview of the Local Distance Network, a many routes approach, featuring what looks like a metro map with routes converging on H0.

Use Case: Quickly identify what was said about :topic in list of multiple yt talk videos (e.g., at a conf), including timestamps to those segments Tip: Use google's NotebookLM, add talk urls to a notebook, then ask your questions. The AI uses the transcripts as source to provide the output.

Dragan Huterer's DESI 3-Year Analysis talk yesterday at EuCAPT Virtual Colloquium cds.cern.ch/record/2945960 A little teaser at 43:27: Are the LCDM tension & Hubble tension related? His take is no, they're different, from segment "5 facts about hints for DDE (and Hubble tension)" starting 38:26

A slide from Dragan Huterer's talk where his take is that the LCDM tension and Hubble tension are different: "No apparent relationship (afaik)". One factor he mentions on the slide is that the Hubble tension gets worse in the w0waCDM model.
