Asked my newly arrived students from mainland to go out and shoot photos of Hong Kong - strictly no Xiaohongshu locations. One of them filed this from the Ladies Market, a) she nailed the brief and b) I'm sad no-one is going to get my George Takei impression in class today: "Oh my"...

About 30 years ago Bob and I crossed paths in Jakarta. Played some pickup soccer and ultimate that was it. Fast forward to now in Taipei and I respond to a Reddit post asking for someone to toss a disc with. It’s Bob. We quickly realized the tons of mutual friends and experiences.

Resilient win too, she was 5-3 up in that 2nd set. She will stay in the Top 100 after defending the points from last year.

An AI-native startup just restricted most new hires from using AI until they actually learn their jobs. Employees were using expensive frontier models for simple work while senior people cleaned up the AI slop. They now expect token spend to fall from $15–20M to $4–5M. I feel similar pain daily.
