✨July Wrap Up✨ Slower reading month but not a bad one! Upon a Starlit Tide ended up being one of my favourite reads this year. Such an underrated book. If you love stories inspired by fairytales make sure to pick this one up!

Went on a lovely walk with a friend today and may have popped into Waterstones to pick up one of my most anticipated reads of 2025. Anyone else obsessed with Lights Out and can't wait to read Caught Up?👀

Brigid Kemmerer's adult debut has restored my faith in romantasy! A character driven romance with an engaging plot that has ACTUAL political intrigue. Slow burn with enough push and pull tension to make you crave the 🌶️. All your favourite tropes and micro tropes.💖

Another cute and fluffy read from T Kingfisher! I found Paladins Grace a little more repetitive and slow than some of the other books I've read in this series. I also didn't connect with Grace and Stephen as much as I'd hoped. However, still plenty of laughs and fuzzy feels.💖

Considering I was on holiday the first week and my brother's been visiting for two weeks, 8 books isn't bad! What was your favourite read of April? Thank you to Netgalley and the publishers for the ARCS - reviews to come.✨

Idolfire by Grace Curtis is out today! Epic journey and slow burn sapphic romance, what more could you ask for?! Inspired by the fall of Rome, we follow Kirby and Aleya, two unlikely allies from opposite ends of the world, as they meet on the old road and journey to the city of Nivela. ADPR/gift

The fake dating trope hits every time! I really enjoyed this cute and sweet hockey romance. Easily read in a day and a perfect book if you're looking to read something that'll put a smile on your face.
