✨July Wrap Up✨ Slower reading month but not a bad one! Upon a Starlit Tide ended up being one of my favourite reads this year. Such an underrated book. If you love stories inspired by fairytales make sure to pick this one up!

Arcana Academy comes out tomorrow! No doubt, this will be a big hit with BookTok romantasy fans. Have you read it? Will I see you at the Elise Kova signing on 8 August?👀 Thank you for the gorgeous proof @hodderbooks.bsky.social @readeatretreat.bsky.social
Went on a lovely walk with a friend today and may have popped into Waterstones to pick up one of my most anticipated reads of 2025. Anyone else obsessed with Lights Out and can't wait to read Caught Up?👀
Unhinged. Depraved. Filthy. I loved it! This book is 80% smut, 20% plot and I'm not mad about it. I read it cover to cover in just a few hours. If you're looking for a good time (pun intended) definitely pick this up. Thank you @netgalley.bsky.social @penguinrandomhouse.bsky.social for the eArc.
Brigid Kemmerer's adult debut has restored my faith in romantasy! A character driven romance with an engaging plot that has ACTUAL political intrigue. Slow burn with enough push and pull tension to make you crave the 🌶️. All your favourite tropes and micro tropes.💖
Another cute and fluffy read from T Kingfisher! I found Paladins Grace a little more repetitive and slow than some of the other books I've read in this series. I also didn't connect with Grace and Stephen as much as I'd hoped. However, still plenty of laughs and fuzzy feels.💖
✨Bookmail✨ I bought myself A Rivalry of Hearts and My Feral Romance in a seconds sale from Perfectly Edged and they're just gorgeous !Have had money set aside for these for months and I can't wait to read them.

Do you like to buddy read? I just finished a reread of The Unmaking of June Farrow by Adrienne Young. It's a book I couldn't stop thinking about since I read it last year. So when my friend suggested a buddy read I had to say yes! @quercusbooks.bsky.social
A massive thank you to Author Lauryn Hamilton Murray and House of YA for sending me a physical ARC of Heir of Storms (my favourite book of the year!) #bookmail #arcreader #arcbook #heirofstorms #yabooks #5starread
Just finished Rose in Chains and I am not okay 😭 Need the second book ASAP. Easily one of my top romantasies for 2025.💖 Thank you @netgalley.bsky.social @harpercollins.bsky.social
Do you love Studio Ghibli? Folklore retellings? What about Final Fantasy? If you love all of the above then you NEED to read The Floating World by Axie. Final fantasy meets Studio Ghibli in this bold ya fantasy based on the Celestial Maiden from Korean myth. Out 13 May 2025 in the UK. ADPR/gifted
Look how gorgeous this advanced copy of Shipshock is! Thank you @walkerbooksuk.bsky.social #bookmail #arcreader #shipshock #gifted
Wasn't planning on buying any books other than my two preorders this month but they went on sale so it'd be rude not to purchase!
What's everyone reading this long weekend? I'm about 23% through Arcana Academy and all I can say right now is the Booktok masses will love it.
Considering I was on holiday the first week and my brother's been visiting for two weeks, 8 books isn't bad! What was your favourite read of April? Thank you to Netgalley and the publishers for the ARCS - reviews to come.✨

Idolfire by Grace Curtis is out today! Epic journey and slow burn sapphic romance, what more could you ask for?! Inspired by the fall of Rome, we follow Kirby and Aleya, two unlikely allies from opposite ends of the world, as they meet on the old road and journey to the city of Nivela. ADPR/gift
The fake dating trope hits every time! I really enjoyed this cute and sweet hockey romance. Easily read in a day and a perfect book if you're looking to read something that'll put a smile on your face.
