I just saw a TikTok of a sulfur-crested cockatoo, and I'm feeling such a tug on the heart strings: I had one for years, but he eventually grew jealous of my ex-husband. I was forced to choose between them. And I chose the wrong one. 😭

I keep repeating to myself, “Darkest before the dawn..”. It’s kind of working but remains difficult to watch this “smash and grab” phase of Trump’s administration and their cheerleading troglodytes.

Happy Fathers Day to all the guys trying to model well for all the young people in your lives! Keep walking the talk. Society needs you to step up as mentors, allies and dads. ❤️

Lots of knives out for VPOTUS over the Iran MOU, but the dual-hatted Secretary of State/National Security Advisor should have done more to steer POTUS away from this disastrous war. POTUS of course bears ultimate responsibility for this unnecessary, lawless, and anti-strategic debacle.

These #GOP men suck so bad, it hurts to listen to their mental contortions to get the right #MAGA tone; and when their dear leader is finally gone, I hope they are never able to live it down. Karma, never forget where they live.

I’m not a Mainer, but I am distressed by the idea of Graham Platner serving in the US Senate. Maine has ranked choice voting; Platner is not inevitable, and IMO David Costello deserves a closer look as Democrats in Maine get closer to their primary.

maine can still pick someone other than platner. David Costello is a qualified progressive who really seems like he'd be a solid senator. www.everythingishorrible.net/p/an-intervi...
