Your crazy neighborhood minecraft modder. (No serious, that describes me pretty well, just look out the window, I definitely won't be there, but you likely didn't look anyway, therefore... Potato!)

this will probs trigger bots and AI slop people but it's worth asking, any artists I follow (or am friends with) that may be interested in a commission for a birthday gift for someone (will make sure they are ok with it first) it would require drawing an animal :) Obviously no AI

Heyho everyone o/ I'll come to the point rather quickly. I am searching someone that might be interested in becoming a kind of "ambassador" for my mod Project Brazier. After a multi year hiatus it's returning for 1.21.1 soonish (and 26.1 straight after that). Thread ->

Last year, miHoYo copied my puzzle game Ouros in Zenless Zone Zero. Because they are a recognized, billion-dollar studio and my game isn't well known, some people are now assuming that their version is the original, and mine is the clone. I hope this video clears that up.

I think we should be shouting this from the streets and making sure everyone is fully aware they're going to get rugpulled eventually. The more of You that you offload to LLMs and the like the worse it'll be for you when they jack up the prices to actually push profit. Don't be a tool.

‘When the government replaces a New Zealand public servant with AI, what really happens is this: money that used to be paid to someone living in Wellington, Lower Hutt or Palmerston North gets paid instead to a tech giant in California or Seattle’ newsroom.co.nz/2026/05/21/b...

It this time of the year again... another hate campaign against Curseforge. Here you get some objective explanations of what's actually going on: (see thread & feel free to share this)

I may stream some #mcdev today, reviving my old crafting mechanic. - Project Brazier for 1.21.1 is reaching the point I am feeling comfortable to release it. Unfortunately it's nowhere where I wanted it to be content wise, but it'll be available on Fabric and NeoForge! Here's a small teaser.

A tavern like interior, floor and walls are made out of modded blocks.
In the center there is a table with red tablecloth and red polstered benches, this area is separated from the remaining tavern by a see trough barrier build out of new beam blocks.

Lighting is provided by new standing chandelier blocks, and another new block only partially visible in the top right corner.
In the background you can also see a lantern hanging on a chain from one of the new wood beams.

It's been 14 days since Hytale released, here's my conclusion so far: 1. A decent part of the modding community is vile, they'll rip other mods, make minor changes and re-release as their own. 2. My Minecraft mod downloads doubled since the release. 1/?

The amount of AI Slop for Hytale really ruins all my motivation to even browser mods :( It's a shame modding has come to this point, and imo an even bigger shame that Curseforge is so tolerant of AI slop...

I got accepted into Hytales affiliate program! 🥳 Now I am actually forced to mod it. 😅 If you haven't bought the game yet, but are considering to, and want to support me a bit, feel free to use the code "BRAZIER" when buying the game ^^

Brazier Modding Logo (A brazier with armored bird feet for it's legs. A woven wreath around it, with a few leaves sprinkled on top. And a banner at the top spelling "Brazier Modding" and a second banner at the bottom spelling "Code: BRAZIER"

I don't want gen AI in my browser I don't want gen AI in my pc I don't want gen AI in my art I don't want gen AI in my games I don't want gen AI in my music I don't want gen AI in my movies I don't want gen AI in my books I don't want gen AI in my cart I don't want gen AI in my life

@modpackker.bsky.social Hey, I am curious, who came up with those standards? And since when are those standards? I do really not appreciate my projects being slandered for not fulfilling any arbitrarily made up standards, which don't even make sense for some of my projects.

A list of "standards" for mods as defined by Modpackker:
Has an icon
Has more than 3 Minecraft versions
Has more than 1 mod/plugin loader
Has more than 1 image
Has more than 1 category tag
Has an open license
Has been updated recently
Has issue tracker
Has a wiki page
Has an official community
Is open source

Spending this Saturday at Pen & Paper convention, going to host a game, and spent the last 8 hours translating the important play material into German 🙃 I definitely underestimated the workload. Going to spend another 2-3 hours on it tomorrow. So much about my plans to work on Project Brazier....

I've forgot to write about it when publshed it 👀 Critter Barriers, a handy mod if you want to bulld a bird aviary or a place to keep your bees. It adds Chain & Rope curtains, that can only be passed by larger mods such as players. Bees and Birds get stuck! (Multiloader 1.20.1 & 1.21.1) #mcdev

A small greenhouse, built out of cherry wood, at it's door one of the new Rope Curtains added by the critters barrier mods, providing a good and large passage for players, while locking the bees inside.

Time for a new teaser! There is no eta, there is still plenty of features I want to add & then things need polishing and bug fixing. I am hoping for something at the end of the year, but with my current speed it might also be summer 2026 #mcdev #projectbrazier

Another Project Brazier Teaser? After all that time? Yes! Because time travel is real, and we're bringing a feature from 1.12 back to the future! New and improved wood beam blocks coming to a future version of Project Brazier (Mutliloader 1.21.1)

A tavern like interior in Minecraft, using Project Brazier Blocks, stone flooring, a wooden ceiling and white terracotta walls.
In the foreground there is a railing build out of spruce beams, connected to the ceiling with the beams also supporting the ceiling troughout the room. In the background you can see tables and benches.
Lanterns on chains are hanging from several wood beams.
