Organist for Boston Red Sox games at Fenway Park. I also do a bunch of other music stuff.

The Red Sox have just won 29 of 34 for the first time in the team's 126-year history. I'm commemorating the occasion by playing Peabo Bryson & Roberta Flack's "Tonight, I Celebrate My Love For You."

Following that 6-run Red Sox 1st inning with an organ medley of Gang Of Four's "I Found That Essence Rare" into Olivia Rodrigo's "honeybee." (Just because the team can seem to do no wrong these days doesn't mean the same can be said for me.)

If that wasn't 1 of the 2 all-time best medleys of "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" into 16th-century English folk ballad "Greensleeves (A Newe Northen Dittye of ye Ladye Greene Sleves)" into David Bowie's "Young Americans" into Harry J Allstars' "Liquidator," then it's back to the drawing board for me

Someone who loves Paul Anka says YOU'RE old? You don't have to stand (or sit) for that. Unluckily for you, my lack of dignity means I'm not beneath playing "(You're) Having My Baby" (the 4th-worst hit song of all time) and leaving you with having to explain that filth to your teen.

Hi @jtkantor.bsky.social ! We're at the game today and I have a 15 year old who loves Paul Anka and I'd get begrudging teen respect if I can get one of his songs played through my use of "old person Twitter" Thanks!

As a Red Sox employee, I can't condone this type of behavior. But have you considered wearing a fake mustache and a name tag that says, "Hello my name is Payton Tolle" ?

Hi, Josh! @jtkantor.bsky.social Coming in for the first game and would love to hear Obscurity Knocks, by The Trash Can Sinatras, as I will be attempting to hide in a trash can to catch both games. Thanks for your support! ⚾♻️

That 1st-inning organ medley of The Modern Lovers' "Roadrunner" into Outkast's "Hey Ya!" into Belle & Sebastian's "Another Sunny Day" was brought to you by whatever was in my coffee this morning.
