An homage to Patagonia and my PhD, now physically part of me forever (in addition to the scar I have from taking tree cores). A cachaña (Enicognathus leptorhynchus) and Nothofagus pumilio leaves, among other Patagonian species 😍
New horizons, "new" job, new social media platform. On Monday I successfully defended my PhD, regarding local adaptation and gene flow in Patagonia's "Nothofagus pumilio" (tree species). Photos of me with my biological parents and my 'Doctor parents' (German term for PhD supervisors).
