Homelessness in Nashville has increased by 20% since 2022 when Metro started investing millions to get rid of encampments. And Metro's Office of Homeless Services puts out a press release that basically says, "We suck. But we suck less than Denver and Charlotte combined, so that's a win!"

It's time that OHS and Metro are held accountable. Especially considering that the Point In Time Count has increased again this year. Nashville's homeless response system is not working to reduce homelessness. We need a new direction.
