I've been wanting to study more saturated pallets because I know there is great importance when it comes to colour but then my mute pallet ass always wants to stay in realistic lighting because it's cooler to me... I need to trick my brain into harnessing both for great evil.

I always somehow forget you can combine concept art with fanart to make beautiful illustrations. My mind is too divided between "fun art" and "work art".

I need to remind myself that despite everything, I still got over 70 pages illustrated in just one year on top of a day job. I improved rapidly and I’m looking forward to seeing where I am at the end of next year.

My one selfish goal is to hope my comic gets popular enough the VA side of the community sees it and dubs it. What can I say I'm just a girl.

Also, congratulations everyone who made something this year. A comic, a song, a film, a novel, a painting, a poem, a short story, a sculpture, crochet, embroidery, whatever it is. In this era of slop and theft, if you *make* something you are a shining jewel and I am so grateful for you.
