Qsy@qsy.bsky.social · 2mo agoThe only reason firearms would look out of place in the type of fantasy I see is because the author, much like OP, doesn't know about their history and can't imagine making fantasy weapons out of them.
As much as I love DD2 I may have to shelf it for streaming. Its one of those games I like to explore every nook and cranny which is boring to watch, and difficult for me to provide commentary for.

Had a dream where I was in some sort of apocalypse, and the only way to get water was to suck it from a seagulls beak. But only the ones wearing hats. (obviously)
Daggerfall is completely free to play, and has fan support. There are easy installers to get DOSbox running, and modernization projects (most prominently Daggerfall Unity) to port the game over to a more recent engine. If you are at all interested, there's never been a better time to give it a try.
