I watched the full season of Agent Kim Reactivated. Pretty good in the end, VERY violent in that Korean action style, with long silent moments, slowmo-choreography and then some. Silly plot points as one might expect from Korean comedic action film, where the tension between N&S is so palpable.

This Agent Kim Reactivated show on Netflix is entertaining. Includes Asian humour, which isn’t my thing, but the action is surprisingly violent while really well done. Long poses, sad faces looking into nothing, one could think this is 🇫🇮 drama, but then again action happens, and in 🇰🇷 we are.

I'm afraid I did watch the In the Lost Lands. As Paul W. S. Anderson films starring his wife Milla Jovovich go, this one is as good as any of them. It's about as good as Borderlands, but less colourful. Also, a lot less "funny" banter. Also less Kevin Hart, none really. So not all bad, eh?

That was an excellent #Åcon14! It felt truly fannish, full of great friends, old and new, interesting programs, fun chats and tasty beverages, which we per usual drank a lot, but peacefully. Favourite con, by a country mile. And then some. Will do again. Next year Nay 6th to 9th. #Åcon15

Really nice programming on the 3rd day of #Åcon14, still beautiful weather and ever so nicer people. Had dinner with Gosh, lovely seafood stew, and now listening to horrible panel. Sorry, a panel on horror. With horror people. Giallo mentioned.

Third day of #Åcon14 has begun. Nice recommendation discussion on children’s and young people’s books. Somewhat old-fashioned suggestions, but the again, most of us were old that persuasion. Full list will appear on the website later. Also, a picture of cute con dogs.

Arrived in Mariehamn, checked in hotel Pommern for the first night and then to Adlon, which opens then. Shopped at Maxinge and then Dino’s. The double smash burger with black aioli? Delish!

Professor Brian Cox: Emergence was well worth a nigh 20 of waiting in immovable queue, waiting for the coats. I was well on board until Van Halen's "Jump" after which I understood the language, but occasionally the big picture was left asunder. The second part was much more understandable.

When we first organised Åcon in 2007, I had hopes that it would A) be a good con, B) would be something we'd do again some time, C) bring Nordic fandom closer together, D) start something new in Finndom, and what ever else I have already forgotten. It has been all that, and then some. ❤️

Autumn season of the 2025 Geek Culture Quiz opened today and thanks to Heavy lean into Method Tapsa (always double-or-nothing the last round), Wrong on the Internet seized the day. Plethora of technical difficulties, but Maikko pulled through like a man with a mission. Well done!
