Found in 1823, this Roman mosaic from Bramdean Hampshire was recorded by John Lickman in 1828 The centre featured Medusa surrounded by deities Sadly an attempt to lift it in 1873 completely failed and the tesserae were finally shovelled up and used to repair holes in a road 😱 #MosaicMonday

11. Still Life (1997). Intersperses footage of ad photographers with essayistic ruminating on 17th century still life paintings. Secular capitalism seemingly eliminates the possibility of divine objects while channeling the divine into the commodity through ideas of beauty, luxury, and perfection.

It is very hopeful for all of us that the future might be brighter, and racial capitalism will have less and less of an impact on the world of the new generation. Winning against billionaires shows that people united will never be defeated.
