‘Emerging artist’ opps -how chrononormativity isn’t natural law but is biased against later starters (me☺️), minorities with different financial pulls + women or other carers. It’s a cultural/institutional imposition that should be resisted. #emergingartist hyperallergic.com/1042641/when...

Please take moment to read.. it’s not what you see on TV… but instead the quiet person unable to wave or shout. Question them/ask… you may have less than 30 seconds to get to them. Usually people playing in water make noise. When they get quiet, you must get to them & find out why. #signsofdrowning

Thanks for the reminder @janemunday.bsky.social. Every summer, I repost this article DROWNING DOES NOT LOOK LIKE DROWNING. To date, I know of FOUR kids who were saved after someone who'd clicked on the link learnt how to spot actual drowning. Take time to read and pass on. slate.com/technology/2...

I'm recovering from a breakdown at the moment and trying to get back on my feet with my workshops & Etsy. If you could maybe RT my new creative & mental health workshop (previous few posts today,Friday 25th) it would help so much to show it to a few more eyes. I'd really appreciate it, thankyou 🌿

Garden finds, early May

What a learning journey… Started fabulous Field Recording course by Marcus Leadley in Jan, invested in kit & now been selected to develop & experiment my ideas on Royal Society of Sculptors residency “Awakenings”. Fab to have time to push things forward (& make a few wonky things along the way☺️!)
