Check out this expert recommendation paper which proposes a shift in how we refer to the respiratory modulation of heart rate. We suggest replacing "Respiratory Sinus Arrhythmia" with the more accurate term "Respiratory Heart Rate Variability" (RespHRV). www.nature.com/articles/s41...
