So having griped about the vets and the bag, in fact the cremation service did a lovely job — the urn is cedar and smells wonderful, and the paw print made me a little teary in the best way. Bon voyage, my little bear. You were the best.

I drove thousands of miles across the country this summer and the number of data center cooling systems I saw being trucked across interstates was astounding. A few years ago, you’d see windmill blades pretty regularly. But this was orders of magnitude more. Every state. Everywhere.
