Commission for a friend’s discord server. Referencing photos from Artemis, in particular a compiled photo put together by Andrew McCarthy, plus a grey tree frog. I had an idea for this one, and took the opportunity to experiment in Clip Studio. I had a ton of fun with this! #art #moon #digitalart

A giant grey tree frog on top of the moon. The moon is referenced from Andrew McCarthy’s compiled moon photo that shows the colors of mineral compositions on the surface. I thought these colors would work well with the subtly tinted greys of a grey tree frog, which I chose for the frog in this artwork. The entire image was put together in Clip Studio Paint, experimenting with the wide range of painting tools I don’t typically get the chance to work with. In particular, many spray brushes, blenders, and gouache brushes. I’m so glad to have gotten the chance to make this!

Hey there folks! Money is a little rough at the moment. (though I’m not in any risk, don’t worry) I’d really like to balance things out though, so I’m doing another sale with the hopes of helping that! Pay what you want, and I’ll draw according to that amount. Dm for info! #art #furryart #bird
