This art came from a dark place. It was the lowest point since I began to express who I was and it came moments before I made the most significant step in my journey with the help of friends. The loss of time, friends, family, and joy just before another door opened.

ugh f*ck it, here. Stream of consciousness venting poem. Behave. This is not in response to anything this week btw - it's something from the past year I typed, came back across it looking through other drafts this afternoon. full text in Alt text.

I don't think cis people have complete souls. I think they just turn back into dust when they die. Trans people get reincarnated until we have received and shared all the love we were meant for thousands of years ago; so many thousands of years ago. I am collecting all the years stolen from me. We meet each other for the first and fiftieth time in odd corners of a desert world and we know, we absolutely know. We talk of where we've been this time and how we woke up from the nightmare of not knowing. The long seeming endless nightmare of The Not Knowing. On this side of things that long shadow slowly shrinks (or appears to) as the years go by and it gets all watery and begins to feel like some set of alien memories implanted in our heads. This is because we each built a surrogate self a paper doll in the fourth that the cis people scrutinizing is for aberrance may have been less likely to strangle drown burn. But they are fickle and violent with their ever amorphous rules and roles. The enforcement of laws is the only thing their world holds truly sacred. Human souls cannot be given quarter in places such as these. I think of my sisters who kept their real name secret and died before it ever got to leave their lips and dance on the air resounding back into their own ears like a whole symphony at once; I think of my sisters who never managed to unlock the room in their soul where the true name waited to be released - those buried beneath tombstones bearing stranger's names. I pray they have another chance in another time and another place I pray I'm right I pray I exist I pray you won't kill us this time I pray we'll come back multiplied tenfold I pray that this doesn't end tomorrow I pray I her a little longer to love them all this time I pray I pray that I'll wake up in a world where I can believe a better world is possible.

If you wait to trust cis people in order to do things you'll just stay waiting. Let them catch blocks, or post with limited responses if you want to share
