The boats and the riverlands are among my favourite in this book! I made alot of studies and paintings of this subject before eventually breaking out Blender to do the blockout for the final illustration. You can find Kaukasalo, the finnish L&L world book, at any well-prepared bookstore!
Working with Kaukasalo, I created multiple sketches for this location before eventually starting the painting over from photos I took last year visiting Iceland.
