nw: “Memento Mori” — one of the all-time X-Files bangers, featuring some excellent Mulder/Scully drama, the Lone Gunmen, Cancer Man asking Skinner if thinks he’s the Devil, and some grade-A acting from Mitch Pileggi.

The hunt for getting that next big laugh. It’s like an amazing drug, laughter. You keep searching for the next hit. I love going on the road for that reason. Pure bliss. The other side of all that though: my driver totally just shredded ass on this ride to the airport and nothing is worth this.

Man, no spoilers, but that was a super undignified way to leave Top Chef. I was so enjoying coming back to this show after honestly like ten+ years and finding it virtually absent of all the bullshit reality competition drama. Then this motherfucker pitches a fit like a twelve year-old. Poor form.

Some guy wrote us a long note saying how he could no longer, in good conscience, listen to WHM anymore because... ::checks notes:: we recommended Sam Raimi's 'Send Help'? Whatever helps you sleep at night, chief...

Been obsessing over this Coconut Cream Dr. Pepper, so of course that meant I had to try and make a cocktail with it. Getting close. Latest build was way too sweet. I forget I’m working with a dang soda here, so the sugar is baked in already! More to come, but where I’m at ain’t bad.

Here’s a horrendous picture of me drinking a test build on a new cocktail.

Was so stoked because I thought Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie came out on blu-ray three days ago and that my disc should be here any day. Sadly, it doesn't release until MAY 26th. Ah, well, just a few more weeks until I own this amazing movie forever.

We had a certain director cancel on us after we'd planned to record a special W❤️M with him later in the week. Then the publicist disinvited us from a screening of his new flick. Was it something we said? lol. Fuuuuuuck off.

We picked Top Chef back up this season (loving the Carolina cuisine), but seriously, we haven't watched it in over a decade. When we last tuned in, Last Chance Kitchen wasn't a thing, so any TC fans out there, please help: Why are those two women stuck sitting there in Last Chance Kitchen Limbo?
