I'm an avid knitter, crocheter, and general crafter, and I like to share my various projects and assorted interests with others. 🇨🇦

Next up for #showmeyourknits tools that are useful and fun: yarn holders. My first yarn bowl, the kitty, was a BIG purchase for me as a knitter. But a yarn holder doesn't have to be expensive! The yarn spike is 3D printed from a free file online and soooo useful! Ask your friend with a printer.

The red and yellow are separate pieces, so it spins as you pull on the yarn.

This week #showmeyourknits asked what makes your knitting better, easier, more fun? First up is absolutely STITCH MARKERS. Do not be like me and think you can keep count. Invest in stitch makers. They can be safety pins! Or get the fancy ones that make you smile. Use them often and liberally.

Laura Dern pays tribute to Sam Neill. “Sam was my beloved lifetime friend. He showed me the depths of loyalty, protectiveness and love, always with the driest wit. He was a true and noble gentleman, wrapped up in my dream leading man. I will love you forever, Dr. Alan Grant.”
