Young Ladies Don't Play Fighting Games is making me realize that I want a meta story mode in a big fighting game. Tekken 8 kinda had it with Arcade Quest, and I genuinely love that mode, but there could be so much more done. I want Hikaru no Go, but for fighting games

Hell yes, more games need to steal this. Training drill presets are such a wonderful time saver and also a great way to get newer players to learn valuable lessons that will help them improve without forcing them to learn how to set up practice dummies in training mode.

There's a lot I like about Avatar Legends. Up there with the game feel, the schmoovement, and the flexible combos though are SMEAR FRAMES.

Splatoon Raiders is an amazing action RPG. It has fantastic new powers with crazy upgrades, tough battles that force you care about your build, and a huge variety of fun level types. This is the best Splatoon campaign and one of the top Switch 2 games. My review is up now, on @ign.com!

So how's the review of Doom the Dark Ages: Revelations going?

I bounced off the original Black Flag back in the day, as it hit at the peak of my Assassin's Creed fatigue, so I'm cooler on it than most, but I've been mostly enjoying my time with Resynced. It's absolutely gorgeous, and I think its story is probably one of the best in AC

OOF. I knew I missed the dash in Doom: The Dark Ages, but I didn't realize just HOW much I missed it until they gave it back to me in the Revelations DLC. First impressions are very positive so far. Review to come sometime during the week.

I need to know if making it so that the sound effect plays every time the other player selects "rematch," even after they're already locked in, is a deliberate choice from the dev with the intent of making it so you know how salty they are, or if its unintended hilarity
