As a professional fact checker I would never *in a million years* use AI for research and fact checking. It lies! It makes things up! It plagiarizes! And I also have an obligation to the authors I work for not to do shoddy half-work.

Had to complete a survey at work today and there were three separate questions about how I used AI in my work — and each time I had to scroll right down to the bottom to find the option that said "I do not use AI". I wonder for how much longer we'll still have that as an option.

Thirteen Justices for thirteen circuits, with an increase each time a circuit is added. No constitutional amendment needed. Long overdue. Increase the size of the federal judiciary, too. A country that supposedly prizes the rule of law can afford this.
