Hi everyone, it's been awhile. I've been busy taking care of my wife. It's not getting better. She has 2 new tumors, a new one in the brain and one inside her lung, the cancer has metastasized into her hips. Immunotherapy has damaged her thyroid, so we are stopping that and going back to radiation
When it rains it pours. Thursday, as we were leaving for Patty's radiation treatment we heard a crash as we shut the door. Got home we saw that the sink plumbing had broken away from the kitchen sink. Oh well, at least I know how to do plumbing, only cost $500 in parts #badtiming #fuckcancer
Today, we finally got a name, non Small Cell Lung Cancer, Stage 4. She has 8 more rounds of radiation on her spine, and then the chemo starts. She's confident, the Dr's and nurses are confident. #fuckcancer
She got her 4 target tattoos yesterday. Radiation starts on Monday. She says she's ready to fight, I believe her. She's going to win. 💪 #fuckcancer
Today, I bring my wife home from the hospital. Started as a trip to the ER for unresolved debilitating back pain early last Wednesday morning. Now she's coming home with Stage 4 Cancer, a chemo port, and a radiation schedule starting tomorrow. I just want to scream. #fuckcancer
