Dinner...Fresh organic ingredients from my friend who gave me much more than the heirloom tomatoes. Sicilian squash, garlic, onions, tomatoes, oregano, basil and a bay leaf. Served over pasta with a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese.

My son just called me and shared these photos via text from the Noah Kahan concert in Raleigh from his stage front position. Just wow! He and his wife scored both tickets for only $498.00! That's a lot of money in my world, but thankfully not theirs. I'm happy that they are financially set.

Haven't eaten today, so I pulled some gulf shrimp out of the freezer and prepped them to pair with homemade Alfredo sauce. Only bummer... no linguine or fettuccine in house, so I substituted spaghetti. Pasta is pasta. Right? Living alone definitely has it's perks!

I have some great news. I sign the contract for my new roof on August 5th. It includes a complete tear off, new asphalt roofing, gutters & downspouts. The best thing is that I was awarded a $25,000.00 grant that will pay for the entire project thanks to a County grant program that I received!

I mentioned in the comments on this post, that the lower parking lot of our library is covered in solar panels and the entire two story library is now powered via solar energy! 🌝 I went to the library today to return puzzles and get new ones. I took these photos of the lower lot solar panels.
