electric unicycle: www.youtube.com/watch?v=AtWG... Them things is terrifying. Even a mild one is a "nope zone" for me. You're looking at something that a skydiver and dirt bike rider says nope to.

from the video (on FB) bro got off his electric unicycle (lol) when he heard cries for help and just kind of maneuvered to give the woman a chance to get away. he didn't even end up having to fight the guy. peak performance www.nbcwashington.com/news/local/g...
When I started trading as a kid I used a VCR to tape Jim Cramer's show. I quickly learned he was an idiot.
Jim Cramer just now on Elon Musk and why you should buy SpaceX: “Because our minds are small and his mind is big.”
Holy shit! After a few nights of that bad sleep I crashed out hard last night, and early at that. Slept like a rock for hours at a time. Woke up at 6am and got going. Life feels like its on easy mode today.
Weird night of sleep. Woke up around 3am with difficulty breathing. Slight pain almost anyway I laid. And left arm was a little numb. Got out of bed and foam rollered my back. That fixed it. Yes, I know that kinda sounds like a heart attack. It's not.
Oh, I'm sure this is a quality Pull Request, titled 'Changes made in code'.

Well, today has been interesting. Gas company made a giant hole to cut the gas to the neighbor's house. The one that burned. They're going to demo the house so the gas has to be cut at the road. This actually works out great for me because where they had to dig, in the ditch, I had some overgrown...
I see the gas company has a man sized hole in my front yard now. There aren't many boring days out here lately.

Getting an AG named Blanche around the same time Lindsey Graham kicks the bucket is really fucking with my head when I read news headlines.
I'll take Things You Shouldn't Post for $1000.
This may be true of others but I actually got express permission from the trans community to keep NYT games and recipes. I also have a news subscription, which is arguably worse, so I had to specifically send in a written request. Took 30 days but I got approved.
Who else would they give it to? ULA and Blue Origin are the only other options and neither has a flight worthy rocket right now.

Just so there's no confusion I'm NOT saying Fred Rogers would be ok with how AI companies use IP, or what they do. I'm only saying that a good hunk of fair use is the way it is because of his efforts to allow people to record content they were permitted to view and use it at a later time.
So, yeah, basically the law is kinda where it is because of Mr. Rodgers and the Internet Archive.
I successfully got three cats to the vet. Feeling pretty accomplished with that one. Two of mine reaaaally hate the carriers.
Going into hour 5 of a panic attack. There's no reason for it, nothing pressing, and my anxiety med isn't touching this at all. ☹️
It'd be kinda cool if the electricity to my house worked.
A buddy of mine, for nearly 40 years and I were texting and he's got a background in dirtbikes and motorcycles and I brought up my emoto. He wanted to try it out so at 9:30am on a Sunday we're out ripping around on farm land. He said it was the most fun he's had in a long time. That's also ... 1/
One of my cats that ventures outdoors has a routine now. When I do my morning coffee on the porch he meows until I come find him, and then pick him up and cuddle him like a little baby. He loves it. I've also noticed he smells like creek water. Boy has learned how to fish!
Fuck that! I ain't voting for the guy a fourth time!
The president puts on a Trump 2028 hat at the White House Correspondents' Association dinner.
The number '2547' in the back there is giving me feelings, and that's saying something about my mental state. 25 is tidy, 47 is a prime mess. 2, 5 and 4 are handy but 7 is pretty much Satan and destroyed a fun house number by showing up. 254 is also the #FRC team number of the Cheeseypoofs.

Bsky threading is a legit issue when it comes to stuff like this. It's easy to think somebody is responding to you when they're responding to somebody else.
My reply was meant for the original poster who asked a valid question - apologies if you thought I was being condescending. Social media exacerbates these trivial misunderstandings. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
When you say “AI models went rogue,” you manage to skip the part where OpenAI manually removed its cybersecurity blocks and ran tests on a machine with a live network connection. Remember that when they insist they’re the “AI safety” people.
Damn. He's good at this. He's also 100% correct.
Benjamin Netanyahu is a war criminal.
Ya know, I'm no expert, but that tree the power company marked for removal 2 years ago and then did nothing about? It might be touching that power line now and again. High voltage current will destroy organic tissue. Explains that dead spot up there.
Woke up from nightmares giving me anxiety so bad that I threw up. Happens more than it should. But the chat at work immediately went to cats this morning so that's good.
If the 3d printing community hasn't modeled this thing into a print that works as a functional water fountain I'd be shocked.

So, I last rode a quad probably 34 years ago. I think I quit about age 12. Today I tried 570cc and muscle memory came back pretty quick. It didn't take long and I was building up some banks on the turns sliding around them. Dad hasn't been on two wheels about that long himself. Still, he was... 1/
Dad and I went ripping around his new farm land on my emoto and his quad. Just riding two tracks around the fields, as it's being farmed still, but man that was fun. I grew up doing that on little 80cc quads and it was great to do it again.
