Alright, it's time someone asked the question. What even is Smarty Pants in Toy Story 5? A potty training smart device? Why does that exist? What function does it fulfill that any other toy or device couldn't do? Why can it connect to the internet? How can it send messages?
I think it's quite ageist that some people want Mayumi Tanaka to be recast for The One Piece. The argument I've seen is that she won't be around to do the whole series, but you could say the same thing for the original anime.
I recorded my lines as Old Hob for this a LONG time ago. I'm so glad that it gets to see the light of day! I'm really proud of my performance throughout this project, Old Hob gets put through the wringer!
