Everything about America today is so different than when I was growing up. I know I am old and things change, but killing protesters, foreign fishermen and lying about everything isn't change. It's corruption, a power play and greed.
There are priorities, and then there are *PRIORITIES*. This current regime is actively destroying our own country AND much of the rest of the world. We need to fix that first. We can't do anything for anyone else if we are this broken.
As we have record breaking heat wave after record breaking heat wave, it's comforting that our latest response to climate change has been to rush the construction of a thousand data centers that drink all our water and generate more CO2 than a couple industrial revolutions. JFC.

I've never been registered to any political party, but I'll tell you right now the first political party that forms based on a relentless focus to hunt down and prosecute ICE atrocities gets my vote forever
