Saw the new Avengers Endgame inspired mode in Marvel Rivals and… that’s it? That’s what caused this season to only have one character release? That reeked of “Disney made us do it”.

The way people talk about the Talia and Roman relationship in Edgerunners 2 is weird. Like they are two kids talking about a hypothetical, nothing was actually made official. Also really don’t like how people are calling Talia a predator and a groomer.

it's crazy to me that people will see how fucking good final fantasy resonance looks and be like "hd2d sucks tho :/" because someone told them octopath 1 looked bad a decade ago

Ok so I just got done with Blood and Wine, meaning that I’m done with this current playthrough of The Witcher 3 until Songs of the Past releases next year. Man I love this game. Next time I do a full playthrough (after SotP) I’ll probably do a “100%” playthrough.

Just got done with Cyberpunk Edgerunners 2. It’s definitely a different vibe compared to the first season. A lot of characters to focus on here compared to the first one which leads to this season feeling kinda unfocused and jumbled at points, but it definitely sticks the landing. Overall good time!

Respawn working with DICE on Battlefront 3 makes more sense than Bungie, but man why does it continue to feel like they wanna pretend that Titanfall doesn’t exist besides Apex Legends?

This is sorta my problem with how people view friction in video games (at least here on Bluesky). They treat is as a black and white thing were friction no matter what kind is good, when that’s far from the truth. Some friction can be good, but sometimes frictionless is necessary.

Very strange to see people post about the new Castlevania having no contact damage (good change) and come to the conclusion that it’s “frictionless game design” because “enemies can’t be annoying”. Because like. Bestie. The enemies in this game can be more annoying than you can possibly imagine
