"Let people enjoy things" as a meme has this implicit idea that someone criticizing something you like is somehow restricting your enjoyment of it. Let **yourself** enjoy things. Stop worrying about what other people think.

If you have to pee really bad, a good way to think of it is you have five pee chambers and only one is full. It’s basically not even a problem.

Virtue ethics is so abysmally absent in liberal discourse that it seems like conservatism to many people. His films can easily be read as promoting duty and service to community in the face of political corruption and indifference. This is not right wing at all.

The thing about putting art out into the internet is that the laziest thing you ever made will go bonkers getting liked and shared. The best thing you ever made that is so fucking cool and deep nobody will ever give a shit about.
