Tbh I think Pan is not peoples first guess when it comes to who the WoL is. He has given up trying to follow the ideal hero, and doesn't care much about what people see in him. What matters is he's pointed where to go and he's not expected to hold conversations.

#wolqotd How does your WoL/OC take the "I thought you'd be taller" or "You don't look so tough" lines from people expecting a hero out of legend but getting an adventurer instead? Does it hurt their feelings? Maybe provoke them to show off more? Unfazed?

Even though I think it's natural because people start playing MMOs at different times in their life-spans, having played XIV since 2.0 drives me nuts because of how much expansion revisionism that happens as time goes on. People act like DT is the worst xpac when HW almost killed the game lol.
