Some things I'm experimenting with. Furby shit. I made molds and it was not easy! #furby #customfurby #artwork #nostalgiacore

EPSTEIN LATEST: In light of what we released last week from my staff's investigation, I'm handing Trump's DOJ a ready-made case with seven different lines of investigation for them to follow the money on Jeffrey Epstein.
Greg Sargent@gregsargent.bsky.social · last yr.NEWS --> Sen Ron Wyden writes to Pam Bondi, urging DOJ to probe $1.5 billion in Epstein financial transactions that banks flagged for Treasury Dept. He lays out roadmap for DOJ to examine money flow related to sex trafficking. Challenges Bondi in new way. Read here: newrepublic.com/article/1982...
What I've been up to. These furby studies have been fun and challenging. I'll post more later. #furby #portraitart #portraitpainting #nostalgiacore #oilpainting #traditionalart
I did a few more details and now it's done! Miravelle 💚🩷💛💜 I put a lot of work into making this being. #furby #customfurby #fantasyart #pastelgoth #dragon #unicorn #mood #furbybaby #sparkles #art
Find me on stage, where I said some things about marine CO₂ removal. 🌊
Giulia Faucher@giuliafaucher.bsky.social · last yr.We had a Symposium on mCDR on the last afternoon of #EGU25 Not easy but still a good one Yet during EGU25 there was a sense of fear about research. The optimism of past years was missing replaced by anxiety that some science might no longer be done as we’ve known it. This uncertainty is frightening
Made my first custom furby from a busted and raggedy looking baby furby. Now she's a work of art instead of just broken. Her motor is seized up even after oiling. I based this idea off of what I would have loved as a kid. I liked my unicorns, cats, and fantasy stuff. #furby #furbybaby #furbyfandom
Attempting a seascape study. So far I think it's going well but I can always mess it up! Letting it dry before working some more. I'd like to keep it loose but I know myself. #artstudy #artistproblems #oilpainting #painting #artwork #seascape #pleinair #pnw #ocean #art #artonbluesky #pacific #wip
I may be up to 23 furbies now. There's a few more I'd like but they're a bit spendy. Casually looking for a reasonable priced peacock boom that I used to have. #furby
I still need to go back in and make the eyes sparkle, but it's almost finished. #furby #portraitart #furbyart #90s #nostalgia #oilpainting #painting #artwork #artist #popart #portrait #traditionalart #tradionalartist #wip #workinprogressart #art #petportrait #albino
I don't think I'm the k8nd of artist that can finish a piece in one go. I'll go back and finish this once the paint dries. Doing some studies from a vintage art mag. #oilpainting #waltertfoster #painting #landscape #landscapepainting #art #workinprogressart #oregon #wip #70s #artstudy #artcritique

Going to the postal protest. My mom's a letter carrier. It's been a good job to raise a family on. One of the few left without a college degree. #protest #postoffice #resist #protestsign #tesler #lettercarrier #usps
Art study I did from a 70s vintage art tutorial. #artstudy #art #oilpainting #landscapepainting
Not quite done with this study but here's where I'm at. Now to let the paint dry before I go into it more. #artprocess #oilpainting #artstudy #stilllife #traditionalart #furby #furbyart #90s #realism #art #painting #artist #workinprogressart #90stoys #leopardprint #fashionista #popart
Going back to this guy. I let him sit for a year out of frustration. #oilpainting #portraitart #portrait #workinprogressart #romantisism #painting #artwork #artistproblems #perfectionist #adhd #traditionalart #art #artnouveau #pastelgoth #realism #fantasyart #mutedcolors #fashioninspo #ootd
Another furby painting. I painted over a 7-Eleven cup study. Now I kinda want to make the furby 7-Eleven themed in the painting. I may customize a broken furby with a ruined skin later. I wouldn't ruin this cute guy. I'm usually not a fan of ruining vintage stuff. #oilpainting #furby #art #painting
Finished, make might mess with her shadow, but it's pretty much done. #furby #oilpainting #art #painting #artwork #artist #stilllife #stilllifepainting #90s #xennial #throwback #furbies #traditionalart #oregonartist #popart
Decided to try out a still life today. I am happy with it so far. Taking suggestions on background color or scene. #furby #90s #oilpainting #painting #stilllife #art #traditionalart #artist #portrait #timelapseart #aughts #classicalart #nostalgia #90score #workinprogressart #artcritique
New Furby because I guess it's my new obsession/distraction! #furby
I got laid off today, with the rest of 18F. 18F was an elite federal software shop. We made gov't websites work better, more efficiently for the American people. We saved taxpayers from getting screwed over by contractors. And were fired for it. We made this website to tell our story: 18f.org
We're not done yet | 18F

Got this one working. #furby #refurb #90s #nostalgia
Firings are happening right now at the National Science Foundation. Essential staff are being cut. This isn’t about the budget. If it was, they’d be going after the military (17%) or state appropriations (38%). NSF is 0.7% of the federal budget. All federal employees make up only 4% of the budget.
Another art study from a 70s vintage art tutorial book. I know I'm going to mess this up because it's starting out strong. Oh well gotta learn somehow! #underpainting #artist #oilpainting #artistproblems #painting #landscape #landscapepainting #pleinair #artstudy #workinprogressart #impressionism
