30-something white dude with a flow you ain't ever heard.

I've probably said this before, but I really dig Bardock's original Nakatsuru design before Toriyama tweaked him to have the exact same hair as Goku. Honestly I think we were robbed. It's also kind of funny-sad that every time Toriyama attempted to revamp Bardock, it just resulted in a downgrade.

A scan of the aforementioned original Nakatsuru concept design for Bardock, with a unique more upturned hairstyle instead of just a copy of Goku's.

I finally caved and bought Pokemon FireRed on Switch, and all-in-all I'm having a good time replaying it... but much like with the Let's Go games, the pointless strict adherence to the original Kanto 151 until the post-game is REALLY starting to irk me.

Somewhere in the multiverse is a reality wherre Jonathan Majors didn't get in trouble, and the MCU kept going with whatever its plans were for Kang, and things remained a lot more consistent, and that universe's alternate me is probably a lot more excited for the next Avengers movie.

Easiest answer ever. The Smash Bros franchise has made some "questionable" roster choices before, but Doomguy being relegated to just a Mii Gunner skin in Ultimate while that annoying little shitstain Sora was simultaneously allowed in as a full-fledged character is its most unforgivable crime.

"In the first age, in the first battle, when the shadows first lengthened, one stood. Burned by the embers of Armageddon, his soul blistered by the fires of Hell and tainted beyond ascension, he chose the path of perpetual torment. In his ravenous hatred he found no peace; and with boiling blood he scoured the Umbral Plains seeking vengeance against the dark lords who had wronged him. He wore the crown of the Night Sentinels, and those that tasted the bite of his sword named him... the Doom Slayer."

Congratulations! You have been personally chosen by the creator of Smash Bros to add ONE character into the next game. the only rule is that they have to originate from a video game. who are YOU choosing?

After sleeping in a little and having a pretty busy morning, I'm finally settling in and browsing the internet and only just now finding out... ...that some people actually didn't like the song choice for the last big fight in Supergirl? Weird, I thought it worked great.

Just got out of seeing Supergirl. Not as amazing or maybe impactful long-term as Superman last year, but still pretty dang good. A decently faithful adaptation of the "Woman of Tomorrow" comic story that also serves as a good origin story for Kara in this new DCU. Also Lobo is there.

Had to bring something to the local recycling yard today, took a quick peek in the electronics bins on my way out as usual and... I done trash-picked me a GameCube. It's even got a game inside it too.

A silver Nintendo GameCube console which seems in perfectly good condition, at least on the outside.A "Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles" game disc inside of the GameCube.

Anyone else ever have one of those lives where EVERY time there's a heat wave you get to watch on the weather radar as a thunderstorm cell magically splits itself in half in order to avoid dropping any desperately-needed cooling rain on EXACTLY the roughly 5-square-mile area you live in?
