so there's programs that can take raster art and vectorise it and there's programs that can take vector art and transform it into kicad pcb files and it turns out you can just bodge those together into one cursed pipeline and feed it some of your sona art and no-one tries to stop you?
this emf was my first time soundteching a band! (not on my own, supervised by @keytarrex.bsky.social as the lead eng). it's *so frickin much fun* to hear issues and then fix them and hear the fix and know you've fixed it for everyone
my flatmate is doing workplace training. the answers are leaked in whether the `::active` css pseudo-class of each answer's button is red or green beautiful 👌 no notes
my dishwasher has wifi I have never set it up and I never will it can sit there and yearn. some devices deserve to want things they cannot have
invariant: any larger-than-minimal group of furries will contain every possible type of nerd the group chat for that mario kart room party three years ago that's somehow still active? it contains at least one train nerd, at least one electronics nerd, a linux nerd, a scifi nerd, ...
I find heat pumps deeply unintuitive "you can use energy to transfer heat against a temperature gradient, from a cold sink to a hot sink" intuitively feels to me like it should be pointless. sure, you can do that, but surely you can only move as much energy as you've expended, so you may as well
if you end up doing most of the things you seriously consider doing, you should probably widen the set of things that you seriously consider
furries being cringe is a feature, not a bug. it means our spaces are aversive to the sort of people who prioritise being high social status, which means they (to some extent) self-select out of that space, which is a super useful filter.

fascinating to watch the rathaus group chat oscillate between nerdy and horny. nested negative feedback loops, any imbalance eventually countered, shm on all timescales
it's nice that the emf furry high commission has so much space to ourselves this year. no other villages within like a 30m radius of us
hiding inside most games is a good strip version of that game, but figuring out the right way to do it can be tricky (in particular to get an appropriate pace of clothing loss that matches the mood of the room)
con demand: (predictable exponential growth of consistent 20% growth every year for several years) cons every year: "were caught off-guard by the unprecedently high number of registrations!"
some friends & I once attempted to make a good game out of monopoly, adding freedom of contract and other tweaks on playtesting, it went 3 hours before we unanimously agreed to stop and never play it again but making the ruleset was fun, and at the end of the day isn't that what really matters
mildly amused when orgs hide economic transactions behind thin veneers "we will never sell tickets, tickets are free until they run out! oh btw if you donate to our patreon you have access to a separate allocation of tickets in case that affects your decision in any way 😇'
proud of the divestity of my friendship group (they're all very good at taking their clothes off)
looks like it's that time again. that's right, time for another rathaus furry boardgame afternoon! this time featuring a brand new copy of a crunchy economy game called Container
the best-laid schemes of mice and men go oft awry. that's why you should make your schemes with rats instead of mice
ok, after switching database providers twice (neon -> fly.io managed postgres -> RDS), plus switching and half-rewriting postgres client libs, I think I have finally fixed the db connection issues bunnypaws.kadei.net was having (particularly after a fly.io firecracker resume). phew

was playing around with postgres yesterday experimenting with different strategies for stats queries for bunnypaws. just noticed that one of the queries, having timed out at the psql, had continued running on the server side. for the last 24 hours.
so it turns out all slash commands in a group are sent to all bots in that group. which is surprising because you register the bot as being able to handle specific commands. but that's apparently purely for the autocomplete ui and doesn't act as a filter? seems kinda jank
so the new project i picked up a few months ago is ready to show! it's a v2 rewrite of @nican.net's bunnypa.ws database of telegram stickers with a bunch of new features, and the beta is up on bunnypaws.kadei.net . send me feedback or add stickers by messaging them to t.me/bunnypaws_v2... !
