Staff Software Engineer, AI/mobile/backend

Wrote up my thoughts from where I started using Cursor in December to where I think we are today and what that learning process really felt like. As an #AndroidDev using Firebender & Claude developing an MCP I truly do see big changes coming. www.jasonpearson.dev/vibe-coding-...

In the next 6-12 months I will be deleting all Espresso tests in every repository I'm a contributor to. Not because of Google Gemini Journey, but because it's all possible and even more performant today via MCPs.

Excited to speak at DevSummit hosted at Capital One's offices lu.ma/kz7hrhry If you wanted to pick my brain about CI techniques this is a good time to do it. I'll be covering Gradle Config Cache reuse, Docker layer caching for Gradle User Home, JVM heap sizing, and a bunch of other neat techniques.
