Second part of the vacation was camping in the south of Wales, near Port Talbot. Just to go camping for a few days. Relax, explore, stargaze, bbq, have a campfire, share stories and get to know a friend better. It was really slow paced and chill. Absolutely lovely. Both Wales and the companionship.
First part of my vacation was EMF Camp 2026. A nerdy festival on the border of Wales, for everything creative. So many cool things to see and do.. There were talks, workshops, art displays and so much more to see and do. It was incredibly awesome to be at! <3
Still feeling messed up since hearing a friend of mine passed away due to a motorcycle accident last weekend. Like a glassdoor has been closed and locked inside my mind. I can still see the memories, but not add to them anymore. It hurts. And will for a while longer.. :(
After a week of 30 to 38°c temperatures, there’s finally a sweet relief as nature goes mental and seeks its equilibrium again..
Concert #2 of 2 this week! Sunn O))) An experience I can only describe as the sonification of shifting tectonic plates.. Played at a 0,01% speed and a constant 120dB. So loud you could feel it with your entire body! They’re called a drone metal band for a reason.. Really good to have seen them!
Concert #1 of 2 this week! A Perfect Circle Absolutely great performance! At times the music really lifted the crowd along and it felt like a raw blanket was draped across everything.. Really good energy! <3 Thanks to @dacapopanda.bsky.social for joining! Was a great fun evening together!

Looking to replace most of my Google services, like mail, docs, drive with something less.. evil. As well as to get a proper VPN. Anybody here that has experience with Proton as a replacement for all of that? Or a recommendation for anything else that's good? Would love to hear!
Had a wonderful day at a stained glass workshop last friday. Very insightful for all the techniques and steps of the proces. A pricier hobby than I realised, with cost for glass and tools being up there. Interesting still.. Came home with a nice little finished piece at the end of the day!
I love the creativity in and imagination sparked by the lego flower sets.. Flat cap? NOPE! LEAF! Butterfly? NOPE! FLOWER!
Putting together this absolute hackjob of a Meshtastic node to find out there’s little to no Meshtastic nodes in my direct vicinity. Nice.. I’ll print a case for it… At some point.

True friends hide 40 little figurines for you to find throughout your house because you turned 40. <3 I have random gigglefits as I discover another little rascal hiding in plain sight. Critters found so far: 24.
The opening act was Intervals, an instrumental progressive metal band. While they sounded really good, I sometimes kinda missed some vocals to zhuzh it up a little.. Ah well, can’t have it all! ^^

Another concert tonight! This time it was HENGE! Electronic madness from out of space! Thoroughly enjoyed this.. Very entertaining! Certainly nothing I’ve ever seen before, but would not mind more of! <3 We all can use a little bit of sillyness every now and then.
Oof, one of those mornings where my back’s hurting from sleeping in a weird position, my muscles are aching from kickboxing training last wednesday and my head’s hurting from the wines and beers last night. The trifecta of aches..
The Nirvana Unplugged In New York album just hits on a different core level.. It’s warm, comforting and deeply emotional. Makes my heartstrings vibrate.
Not me testing out two little LED lights I bought yesterday by putting them in the usb ports, turning them on, holding them up to my chest and shouting NIPPLE LIIIIIGHTS.. Nuh uh, not me. >.>
