Just finished this really fascinating read. Learned a lot about how Sudan supported other independence movements partly to counter the southern problem narrative.

Finally finished! This book is an absolute must read for everyone. I knew some of the early history of Zimbabwe and Sudan but this comprehensive overview was so helpful & reinforced how many gaps there are in our history curriculum
