Nah, Kai grew up with a barmaid mum and a soldier dad, so they didn’t have to money to even if they wanted them When his dad became a legate he did get a housekeeper, mostly to look after the kids while he was away She was a family friend more than a servant, they still had to do chores and such

I think Kai would be alright He knows how to fight in all universes, and he’s pretty street smart He’d be able to do basic survival stuff and he adapts pretty quickly

Kai is not! He likes staying up late He’s not too bad in the morning, he can function pretty well with no sleep Ryn rises with the sun! Much to his husbands displeasure You will not see Derin functional until dark.

About a year post Veilguard Kai goes through some bad times - including that his hair gets cut off (unwillingly) Even though it’s the least of his problems it upsets him a lot, and it’ll take ages to grow back So Davrin says alright, I’ll grow mine out too. We’ll do it together

Well the plot of planet crafter involves the mc being sent to terraform a planet as punishment for committing and unknown crime so…. Whatever that is Also trespassing I guess? Theft maybe? Can you call it those if you’re exploring abandoned facilities/wrecks? I’m the only one on the planet ?

Kai is a good person, and most people would see him as one, but he doesn’t always view himself as one Ryn is, genuinely a very kind person but he hyper fixates on small mistakes he’s made and spirals a bit on that Derin kills people for money. so.

Both Kai and Ryn care a lot They try and keep it as low as possible in terms of human lives Kai however cares little for collateral property damage He wants to blow up a building soooooo bad

Oh Kai would freak the fuck out He’s got some Dee rooted trauma around magic that would lead to a meltdown tbh Which would make him loose control of the magic more, making it even worse Ryn would think it’s interesting, something to bond with Dorian over, get really excited about his garden
