"The Wicker Man" should be remade as a musical. And not one of those ironic musicals based on old campy horror films. An earnest Horror/Musical. The original film is just a couple songs short of that anyway.
Yeah, it's straight up "The Brain That Wouldn't Die" (or Head that Wouldn't Die) with a mad scientist trying to find a new body for his lover, who is a head being kept alive. And I absolutely love it. This is a trashy, sleazy piece film with a thin layer of Hollywood gloss on top.

Watching the original Japanese version of Digimon and holy shit Gatomon's actress is fucking intense. Like, overall I have nostalgia for the goofy English Dub. And I do think some things are better in the Dub. But wow Gatomon's original voice is like... Damn, you brought your A game this role.
Me: I don't know why the English dub of Digimon changed Tailmon to Gatomon. Also Me: Gatomon is a much better name than Tailmon. Me, right now, finally figuring out: OH SO THAT'S WHY THEY CHANGED IT.

I've always wanted to make a web series patterned after old film serials. But in a sincere way, not a tongue in cheek way.
I've accepted that we will never have a truly great X-Men film.
Making a Spider-Man film just to introduce a forthcoming X-Men film is why I don't watch these movies anymore. Also, Sadie Sink as Jean Grey is about the worst kept secret since Toby Maguire and Andrew Garfield in the last film.
