Seeing both a therapist and a psychiatrist is important for many reasons but one of those reasons is that they can kinda peer-review each other. I don't wanna get into details but my psychiatrist (who is otherwise excellent) kinda let me diagnose myself with something I don't have
My uncle died of something very similar to ALS and while he was in hospice at the end, he would boot up Skyrim on his laptop and just hang out in the game. He couldn't play it anymore, but it was peaceful to be in the forest somewhere, near a stream, etc. So good job with a funny joke but also ❤️😔
