Well-known Mesozoic animals I am surprised I have never illustrated before: Anurognathids Mosasaurs Pliosaurs Anything else anyone has been wanting me to tackle/noticed as a gap in my Mesozoic coverage?

With the chaos of DinoCon, I forgot to share this! Scott's website has been THE resource for paleoartists for decades, and this new overhaul has made it such a breeze to use! Go check it out!!

Hey everyone - For #FossilFriday, I'm relaunching a completely overhauled Skeletal Drawing dot Com. Check it out, read the welcome post (below), and let me know what you think! www.skeletaldrawing.com/blog/welcome...

I've caught wind of a genAI service called "SciFig" marketing itself to academics as a way of creating figures for assignments, dissertations, papers, etc. I urge my peers to avoid it, and for those with power to influence departmental policy to seek pathways towards banning it.

I have no idea how I managed to do it, but at some point yesterday (a day in which I did nothing but sit, stand, and walk) I successfully obliterated my upper back, and am now in tremendous amounts of pain. I think I'm just built different, in that I am built very much incorrectly.

#DinoConUK 2026 Retrospective! Here are my thoughts on the absolutely wonderful weekend: Firstly, I spent most of my time in the vendor hall, and was proud to be among such an incredible and diverse line up of artists, creators, and community members, all of whom were the friendliest and... (1/6)

Me!

I will always champion human-made art, with every fibre of my being. I am currently in the process of planning out some free resources and initiatives to support folks getting into paleoart - stay tuned!

Has to be said that #dinoconuk has mushroomed since I last attended. It is now HUGE. But the main takeaway remains that the demographic is staggeringly diverse and entirely inclusive. All welcome. It's enriching and life-affirming.

For anyone interested in picking up a Kem Kem fauna poster at #DinoConUK this weekend - there are only 10 A2 posters available, so please do come by early if you would like a large one! Otherwise, there are plenty of A3 and A4 versions available.

I am really late to the #DinoConUK train - but I will indeed be there, and you can find me at stall 30! I will be selling art prints, as well as A3 & A2 Kem Kem formation posters! I will also be doing custom sketches! Please do drop by if you're interested in any of those, or just to say hi!

Evolution with Chris Packham premieres tomorrow on BBC Two and iPlayer! We have been working on this programme for nearly two years, and I am so excited for people to watch it. I am so proud of this project and of our team – here’s a short thread ahead of release! (1/14)
