So I spent our wedding anniversary in the ER then hospital for the last few days. Stress of things going on aggravated my heart which already has an irregular rhythm. Im home on a monitor for the next 30 days. It's better home than a hospital bed.

The air quality in my state is beyond dangerous today. Just going outside to do my normal garden work had to be halted. It's hard to breathe and masks will be a necessity. The wildfire smoke has blanketed us in smokey air that burns to breathe in. Stay safe if you are in Michigan.
My family and I got our midterm ballots here, to say Im concerned is putting it mildly. I know Big Gretch could not run again due to term limits. But having only 2 Democrats vs 4 MAGA has me worried for the state's future. I already plan to vote for Benson, Stevens and Barr then Dem down the line.
It's hard when your wheelhouse of talking politics and social issues, crashes into the need to heal mentally. I've still taken in the horrible injustice done to the Carmack-Belton family. Cyrus was murdered. It's just exhausting being reminded how unsafe our children are. How we are period.

The last few weeks of mirroring Greg's work schedule has been an eye opening experiment. Where I thought I could be a successful night owl. I ended up not being as interested in online activities as I am during the day. One more week of this to go. But I will be back soon.

But Black politicians can be problematic... Black politicians have steep moral & personality requirements, higher hurdles towards acceptance (especially women). And lack the inherent party support. Yet shoulder blame for any fails. Recognize these issues before you spew such nonsense.
