I grew up in Reseda, California in the 70s with sweltering heat in the summers which softened the asphalt on the schoolyard. We played in sprinklers, swam in the pool at YMCA, or headed to Zuma Beach for a dip in the ocean. I have never felt sustained heat as I am currently. 🌡️

I frequent a pro sports forum brimming with MAGAs. The overwhelming opinion remains the same. Climate change is a joke, we've always had hot summers & cold winters. Seeing the burning landscape across the continent, the water & electrical shortages, I feel existential dread. 🌡️😐

So cool to learn that you are in The Odyssey, @johnales.bsky.social, playing Irus (Arnaeus), the beggar of Ithica. I can't say I recognized you among the beggars in those shadowy scenes, but in hindsight, knowing that you are in this epic film is very impressive, indeed. Congrats! 🎬👏🏼
